How to Create a Baby Shower Backdrop

Cost $15-$30

So everyone wants to throw a Pinterest worthy party but it isn't always as easy as it looks. I decorated parties for years so I know! Full video is below. Here you will find step by step directions and helpful tips to help you create this super cute baby shower backdrop. This project is not very expensive thanks to the balloons. In all you can expect to spend $15-$30. First here is what you'll need.

Supply List:
  • A theme! Here we used a rain shower theme
  • Plain latex balloons
  • "Baby" mylar balloon letters 7-14 inch
  • Scissors
  • Tape
  • Balloon string or regular string
  • 4-5 Safety pins
  • 3-6 Rubberbands
  • Fabric that is at least 6-8ft long and 4-5 ft wide
  • Command hooks or nails
  • Rain drop Garland or other garland
  • Balloon Pump (optional)
Picture
First pick a well lit spot of wall that is at least 6-8 ft wide and tall. Attach the nails or command strips at least 2-3 ft above your head and as wide as you would like your fabric is. Fold over a small piece of the corner of the fabric to create a loop and to so along the the top of the fabric where you expect to hang the fabric on the nails or hooks.

Watch the video to see how I did it.

This is an easy way to dress up a baby shower. If you do it yourself share how it turned out!
